What is GRE ?
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a standardised test to measure the overall academic preparation of a candidate wanting to attend graduate school abroad. Through GRE test, a candidate is evaluated on his Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Analytical Writing skills. Most Universities in the US while inviting applications from prospective students ask for GRE scores.

Verbal Reasoning : 130 - 170
AWA : 0 - 6
How many times GRE can be taken ?
GRE can be taken an unlimited number of times with a gap of minimum 21 calendar days between 2 tests. However, one can give the test only FIVE times in a calendar year.
Note : If you've taken the GRE multiple times you can choose the score that you want to sent to the university.
Score Validity
GRE score is valid for FIVE years from the date the test was taken.
Note : You need to have the GRE score with you at the time of application. However, you need not to have the AWA score.
